The Tri Star EZ Spider Nut utilizes our proven torque bolt technology to provide consistent and precise holding force with minimal effort. First, the EZ Spider Nuts are threaded in place but not tightened. Then each the push rods are tightened with and impact wrench and torqued to the correct specification. The thrust ring evenly distributes force of each push rod and securely holds the spider in place for a tighter hold than the OEM style spider nuts. The optional split nut style allows for easier assembly, virtually eliminating the need to thread the nuts in place.
